After benefiting greatly from chiropractic care as a young adult, Dr. Menendez made the commitment to make the healing of others through natural methods his life’s work.

He completed his undergraduate studies at Kennesaw College in Kennesaw, Georgia, and received his DC (Doctor of Chiropractic) degree in 1989 from Life University in Marietta, Georgia. In 1996 he obtained additional certification in chiropractic management of spinal trauma (CCST).

He has been in practice in southern Indiana since 1991, and in 2000 opened the first of three Advantage Chiropractic offices currently in operation.

The purpose of his offices is to serve patients by helping them return to a healthy state as quickly as possible.

Whether you are coming to Advantage Chiropractic to help find the solution for a bulging disc, pinched nerve, whiplash to your neck or even heel spurs…whether your need is immediate relief from pain or long-term spinal correction and maintenance, you have Dr. Menendez’ personal guarantee that you will be treated with the greatest possible courtesy, efficiency, and personal attention on each and every visit by both doctor and staff alike.

Dr. Doug Sharp, an Olympic Bronze medalist, credits chiropractic care for allowing him to compete at the highest level of sports. But his introduction to chiropractic started after an accident on the football field in high school. A hit during practice left him unable feel one leg. Chiropractic had him back on the field in one week.  Since that incident, chiropractic care has become a way of life keeping Dr. Sharp in the game both at the high school and collegiate level in football, hockey, and pole vault.  Dr. Sharp also credits chiropractic with helping him accomplish a life-long goal: competing at the Olympic level. Dr. Sharp won the Olympic Bronze medal in the XIX Winter Olympics in four-man bobsled at the Salt Lake City Games.

Dr. Sharp is a graduate of Purdue University and Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa. After receiving his doctorate in chiropractic in 1997, he was hired to run a sports chiropractic clinic in Sydney, Australia.

After a short stay “down under,” Dr. Sharp returned home to try-out for Team USA in bobsled.  After five years of traveling the world, racing, and taking care of elite athletes from across the globe, Dr. Sharp decided it was time to put down some roots in Kentuckiana.

He founded ProFormance Chiropractic and Fitness, an office and gym combination, in Louisville.  He has now combined ProFormance Chiropractic and Advantage Chiropractic in one great location off Interstate 65 on Veterans Parkway in Clarksville, Indiana.  Dr. Sharp says, "Chiropractic has helped me be happy, healthy and aspire to my dreams. I want to help as many people as I can do the same. My new office is easily accessible to people on both sides of the river.”

Dr.  Mike Dalton, D.C.

After graduating from Indiana State University with a business degree, I became aware of the positive effects of chiropractic.  I was intrigued by the natural approach to health that chiropractic provides and knew it was something I wanted to bring to others.  While attending Logan College of Chiropractic, I learned the philosophy and techniques necessary to enable the body to heal itself through chiropractic.  I have shared this philosophy of health care with my family and my patients for over three decades.  The opportunity to expand my health care practice to serve the patients of southern Indiana is truly a privilege for me.  I am excited to continue corrective rehabilitation treatment and to enhance better health to the citizens of Georgetown and the surrounding areas.
